He first married 1665-11-12 Susannah Paddock 1649 d 1670-03-14 Taunton MA d/o Robert Paddock + Mary (unknown, maybe Holmes). They had children

I originally had him as a son of Samuel Eddy and Elizabeth Savery, but that is a different John.

I also found his death date as 1695-05-27, which would mean he is not the father of Patience.
An LDS entry has him born 1637-12-25 and died 1715-05-27, which would allow him to be Patience's father, but it also has him as s/o Samuel Eddy + Elizabeth Savery, so the 1715 date may be the other John.
Several RootsWeb entries have his death as 1695-11-27, which would also allow him to be Patience's father.

There was a John Eddy 1636-12-16 d 1694, s/o John Eddy 1597-03-27 Cranbrook, Kent ENG d 1684-10-12 Rehoboth, Bristol Co MA + Amy M Doggett 1597-07-16 Groton, Suffolk Co MA (not likely) d 1683-08-20 Rehoboth, Bristol Co MA.

John 1636 seems to have married 1693-07-03 Sarah Woodward 1675-10-03 Watertown, Middlesex Co MA d/o George Woodward + Elizabeth Hammond (Sarah's second marriage).
Some RootsWeb entries say he married Susannah Paddock, Deliverance Owen, and Hepzibah (unknown). [Hepzibah is probably wrong.]
