The farms of Ambrose and his brothers in Tazewell Co IL were part of the Underground Railroad.

[I'm proud to be able to say that of one of my ancestors.]

On 1834-05-01 he and his brothers bought land in Tazewell Co IL from Joseph Mitchell.
On 1837-01-07 they sold land in Tazewell Co IL to Wm Sandusky and David C Perkins.
I'm not sure, but probably that is the same parcel of land.
